An in-depth encounter with choreographer Adi Boutrous, featuring a select group of experienced dancers. This is for courageous individuals, those willing to face reality head-on, those unafraid of touch.
A six-day intensive workshop unfolds as a dynamic creative space, where participants engage in a condensed creation process with Adi Boutrous, culminating in a public performance. Throughout the sessions, dancers will actively take part in a research-based process, improvising, working with a fixed group, and engaging in physical contact with other bodies.
The creative process will unfold in two distinct realms:
- The physical body and the pursuit of touch – Studio time will be structured around guided group improvisations, alongside working methods characteristic of Adi’s artistic practice.
- Inspiration from art history – painting and cinema – These will serve as sources for composition, conceptual exploration, physical qualities, and emotional tension, forming the creative starting point.
On the final day, an open performance will present the work developed throughout the process.
Applications open until March 1, 2025
Selected participants will be notified in the first week of March
