The Department of Community Engagement at Sapir College and non-profit organizations in Sderot, in collaboration with Adama, created scholarships for students studying at Adama’s school. Throughout the year, each student meets regularly with a group he or she accompanies and facilitates.
This meeting with movement allows each of the participants to open up to themselves, to believe and trust in their abilities. To release the judgment that clings to limitations. To learn to get to know physical–mental connection through a structure built from a sequence of experiences the group goes through. The activity is created and developed out of unique listening to the participants, which makes it possible to continue to specify the right training for each of the participants. The work takes place in a common space to emphasize the connection to human contact. A sense of touch, eye contact, trust and support—all of these directly deepen the inner work. This combination of physical skills is the one that gives the answer to all the sensations and emotions, and allows for the synchronization between them.
