What is present within me now? What is my part in existence?
We will bring our attention to the ever-changing dynamics of the occurrences within us and around us. We will move from the exterior shell of the body to the inside and vice versa, and we will explore the degree of interaction in the spaces created between the inside and the outside, through somatic work concerning anatomy and the systems of the body, technical tools from the world of contemporary dance, games and possibilities of communication through touch. We will strive to move with a conscious and attentive presence, allowing an open and safe encounter with ourselves, with others and with the space. We will initiate, respond, identify, and give attention to the compositions that will be revealed, with the emotion and the image they carry, and at the same time, we will also look for qualities of equanimity, devotion and lingering; in which there is an agreement to be more passive. Every place is ‘the place’, made holy (even if for a fleeting moment). Each step is definite and clear, existing for just a moment before being left.
