Voice in Movement

Dana Levi

In these sessions, we will experience flowing and repetitive movement while exploring the body as a space for resonance for the voice and as a vessel that allows the voice to express different parts of ourselves. With the help of gentle movement of the system with instructions that connect to the earth, we will allow the breath to open, the body to soften and surrender, and the voices and sounds to emerge from within us into the space. When the instruments of the body and the voice beat together in a shared rhythm, healing occurs – a return to the complete, basic self. Additionally, we will explore together what different characters/qualities exist within me, what happens when I let go of thinking and allow what lives inside of me to express itself, what changes in me when someone else witnesses my actions, what support can the group offer to the journey of the individual.
